Short-term Japanese Course
From Daily Conversation to Advanced Japanese Needed at Work
CBC offers a wide range of class levels, from daily conversation to advanced Japanese needed at work.
The class level is determined by the result of a level-check test. The level-check test takes place before the course starts.
Students can take lessons for JLPT accoding to each level
For beginner level, Students who come from countries that do not use kanji, we offer a kanji lesson per week. It’s free of charge.

Course Schedule and Status of Residence (visa)
Japanese short-term courses open in January, April, July and October.
Each course is about 1 or 3 months.
Those who can stay in Japan with 30 days “Temporary Visitor visa” can take the 1-month course and those who can stay in Japan with 90 days “Temporary Visitor visa” or with “Working Holiday visa” can take the 3-month course.
Of course, those who live in Japan with a residence status of “Dependent”, “Long Term Resident”, “Spouse of Japanese National” and so on can also take the course.
Class level
Class levels are divided into beginner to advanced by each student’s proficiency level.
At the beginner level, students learn from simple greetings and at the advanced level, students learn not only JLPT N1 but also business Japanese conversations that will be useful for employment.

The Events
Depending on time of course, CBC students can participate in the events below.
CBC also provides information on events other than school events that take place near Kawasaki.

* Tuition fees do not include textbook fees and event participation fees. Please pay the
tuition fee within one week from the application date .
* It is possible to continue to the next term (other than “Temporary Visitor” status of residence) .
