Admissions for Those who come from Overseas
Those who wish to enroll in the Department of Japanese, Department of Advanced Studies in Japanese and Department of Business Japanese require “Student Visa” application procedures. Those who wish to enroll in 3-month short-term Japanese courses can enter Japan with a visa status of “Temporary Visitor.” For details, please check with the nearest Japanese diplomatic mission abroad.

You can move from the Japanese language department to the Japanese language school. You can study Japanese for up to 2 years.
Application qualification
It is preferable that the application is within 5 years of graduation from the last school or institution.

Department of Advanced Studies in JapaneseIn addition to the aforementioned, Japanese ability equivalent to Level 2 in the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test is required.

The applicant is able to come to Japan only when CESR (Certificate of Eligibility to a Status of Residence) is issued by immigration authorities. (It is not possible only with the Admission Permit from CBC.)

- 12 years of formal education
- One of the following conditions
- Passed N2 or higher level of the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) or equivalent academic ability
- Having studied at a Japanese-language school in Japan more than 6 months continuously with 85% or more attendance rate
